Where are you based and what is your background of the project
I’m from Tlaxcala City, I live in CDMX now. I’ve been in electronic music for several years producing House and Techno before starting the Juke Dealer project in 2017. Juke Dealer was born to explore hybrids between underground genres with bass vibes for the club, it’s something beautiful and magical.
Where did you recorded the mix and what equipment do you use to record ?
(2) I recorded the mix in my studio in CDMX, I used two Technics turntables SL- 1200MK2 and SL-1210MK2 with Time Codes for Traktor Scratch Pro, Interface Native Instruments Traktor Audio 6, Mixer Pioneer DJM800, audio monitors Adam A7X, MacBook Pro, for mastering Logic Pro X.
What tracks do we find in your mix ?
(4) There are some very special tracks by myself and the Mexican 160 gang. My partners 1OO1O, Eric Uh, Sonido Berserk, and Robot Samurai, part of the MOVELIKE and JukeMX Family. I also included cool footwork jungle tracks by international producers like Sinistarr, INVT, Static, Samurai Breaks, Coco Bryce. Of course I also mixed some Teklife and Juke Bounce Werk tunes. It was fun, there were moments of jazz, going through the afro beat, some breaks and jungle, all the way up to the acid vibes.
How do you feel at the moment ?
(5) I feel very happy and grateful to collaborate with ENDEMICO, I love sound design and everything that involves synthesizers and plugins. I like searching cool artists and reach out to them to make a bigger community. I’m always producing music collaborating with friends in the city. I got a couple new releases coming soon, and also some gigs around Mexico.
